RAM / EPROM : Memory of Android smart phone explained

Android phone's are made with internal Phone storage and external SD card slots.
Phone storage has 2 sub categories: Internal storage(RAM) and Phone storage(ROM).

Internal Storage(RAM): is a temporary memory where all your apps run.

Phone storage(ROM): is a flash memory used for OS (Android firmware), end-user programs (Android APK’s programs), ROM images and end-user data files.

SD card(Secure Digital): is an external non-volatile memory card for end-user programs (Android APK’s programs) and end-user data files.

When an application is launched temporary files are stored in
Internal Storage(RAM), this means that the more RAM you have, the more applications(multitask) run smoothly.
